2 c. whole wheat pastry flour 1 T. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 1/2 stick unsalted butter 3/4 c. milk
How to Prepare :
Blend chilled butter into dry ingredients until well combined, then add milk and knead for about a minute. Pat or roll out, cut into round biscuits with a biscuit cutter or a sharp edged glass. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes until browned on top. Serve hot. Makes 8-12 depending on size.
