Ingredients : |
|
3 cups flour
1 cup cornmeal
2 T baking powder
1 cup milk
1 cup maple syrup
1-1/2 t salt
1/2 lb butter - melted and cooled
1/2 cup calendula petals |

| How to Prepare : |
|
Mix flour, sugar, cornmeal, salt baking powder, and petals in a bowl.
In separate bowl, combine milk, melted butter, and eggs.
Add dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
Spoon batter into greased muffin pan and bake 30 minutes.
Muffins are ready when a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool slightly and remove from pan. |
