1 3/4 c. oats 1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 1 t. baking powder 1/2 t. baking soda 1/2 t. salt 1 t. cinnamon 1/2 t. nutmeg 1 c. maple syrup 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 egg 3/4 c. applesauce |

| How to Prepare : |
|
Preheat oven to 350F and grease a muffin tin. Mix together wet ingredients, then add in dry ingredients until combined. Spoon the thick batter into the muffin tins and bake 15-20 minutes until a knife poked in the center comes out clean.
These keep well and are very moist. You can add chopped apples or other fruit (raspberries would be good), or more maple syrup if you like them sweeter. |
