½ pound peeled parsnips, sliced about 1 inch thick
½ cup maple sugar
1 tablespoons maple syrup
2 ½ tablespoons butter, melted
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup apple cider
¾ cups whole wheat pastry flour
¾ cups whole wheat bread flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
3 ounces milk
